Community Service Grant Program

The City Council approved $55,000 to be utilized for approved mini-grant funding for projects benefitting the residents residing within Jurupa Valley. Non-profits may be awarded a grant of up to $5,000 to support a project or program.

Special Olympics Southern California

Funding will be used to launch Jurupa Valley's first adaptive recreational sports program.

Rivers & Land Conservancy

Funding supported much-needed equipment for the field and students, shade for players, and materials and supplies for athletic sports and dance programs.

Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. Equine Therapy Program

Funding will be used for materials, supplies, incentives, marketing and education, and entertainment for events.

Friends of Jurupa Libraries Louis Robidoux Chapter Stem Lab Program

Funding allowed for the purchase of high-quality STEMS multi-use tools and materials to remain at the LR Library.

Funding will be used for groceries, medical or utility bills, and emergency saving accounts for low-income, elderly, and disabled residents. 

Tom Wathen Center Red Barn Aircraft Education Project

Aviation

Huerta de Valle Community Garden Program

Funding to be used for an array of gardening equipment, plants, materials, and supplies, along with marketing and education materials.

Jurupa Valley Boxing Club Youth Boxing Program

Funding will be used to outfit the boxing gym with safe equipment for training and conditioning to enhance youth physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Smiles 4 Miles

Funding will pay for much-needed equipment, logistics, supplies, and materials.
