Grow Your Business Workshop Series
The City of Jurupa Valley is teaming up with SCORE to offer free business workshops designed to help owners grow their small business. Workshops will be held every Tuesday beginning February 24, from 5 to 7 PM, online or in person at Jurupa Valley City Hall. Join us to gain expert guidance, build skills, and connect with other industry professionals.

Be Prepared & Stay Safe during an Emergency - Resources and Sign Up for Alert Systems
Staying informed during an emergency can save lives.California offers free local alert systems that send real-time updates about wildfires‚ floods‚ earthquakes‚ evacuations‚ and public-safety incidents directly to your phone or email. You can sign up by entering your ZIP code at Ready.CA.gov.
The City's Emergency Management webpage also offers a variety of resources, tips, and alert systems to sign up for to prepare for emergencies.

The Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project
This project will construct a new, four-lane underpass on Jurupa Rd under Van Buren Blvd and the Union Pacific Railroad bridge. The underpass will improve safety and traffic circulation by separating train traffic from vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

SCE - Riverside Transmission Reliability Project
The Riverside Transmission Reliability Project (RTRP) is a joint project between Southern California Edison (SCE) and the Riverside Public Utilities (RPU).
SCE and approved contractor crews will soon be working on the electrical grid in Jurupa Valley to implement improvements that boost Riverside's electric transmission capacity and support the growing energy demands.

July 29, 2025
Extended RTRP Construction Work Hours, July 29-Aug. 6:Extended work hours for the Riverside Transmission Reliability Project (RTRP) on 68th St. near VanderMolen Elementary in Jurupa Valley from July 29–August 6. May 2025
Preconstruction activities may begin in May 2025. Project construction work is planned to run continuously from June 2025 through 2028. SCE and contractor crews will be installing new underground structures and cables throughout the City of Jurupa Valley.
Work Timeline:
• Dates: Work on the Project will begin June 2025 and will continue through 2028.
• Days and times of operation: Monday- Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, weekend and nighttime work TBD.
