As of Mon. 1/13, 4:30 p.m., 74,000 customers are without power. PSPS numbers will continually change as field reports and system updates are completed. SCE has begun patrolling circuits for damage before turning the power back on. It typically takes up to 8 hrs to restore power once the patrol begins. Restoration can be delayed if damage is found, or aerial patrol is needed. For more info visit sce.com/psps
When the weather improves, and restoration is authorized, crews will inspect and repair the lines and restore power. Typically, this can take up to 8 hours. Restoration can be delayed if damage is found, or daylight is needed for safe aerial or ground patrol. Southern California Edison (SCE) has announced a Public Safety Power Shutoff that may affect Jurupa Valley starting on January 7, 2025 through January 8, 2025. Customers who may be impacted, including those on Critical Care and Medical Baseline programs, will receive notifications directly from SCE.
