A Red Flag Fire Weather Warning is declared when conditions are conducive to wildfires, including low humidity, strong winds, dry vegetation, and high temperatures. These factors can contribute to rapid fire spread.
Warning Details:
- Effective Dates: A high wind warning is in effect through Wednesday, January 8, at 6:00 p.m. A Red Flag Fire Warning is in effect through Thursday, January 9, at 6:00 p.m.
- Important Notice: Outdoor burning is prohibited during this time. Residents and visitors are urged to avoid activities that may ignite fires and to report any smoke or flames immediately.

- Secure outdoor items that may be affected by strong winds.
- Avoid using open flames or engaging in activities that could start a fire.
- Drive cautiously and be aware of loose debris on the roads.
- If you come across a downed power line, call 911 immediately.
