Lorena Barajas

Lorena is a Southern California native and resident of Jurupa Valley since 2012.  Although Lorena moved to Jurupa Valley in 2012, her family has resided in Jurupa Valley/Mira Loma area for over 20 years.
  
Lorena is a project engineer at one of the largest non-profit organizations that assist people with affordable housing and social services.  She serves as a key member for multiple organizations which support residents in need. Her purpose and passion in life is helping her community and surrounding area. She loves contributing her time to community events and is a major part of the outreach movement.  She is an active volunteer with multiple ministries that provide food, shelter, clothing and other services for residents.   

Aside from her duties as a councilmember, she is a board member with the Regional Conservation Authority (RCA) and an alternate for WRCOG.  Lorena is working towards finishing up her degrees in Business Management and Social & Behavioral Science.

Lorena lives with her fianc√© Ryan and her son Erick.  In her spare time, she loves camping, fishing and spending quality time with her loved ones.
