April 10th-16th, 2016 marks National Animal Care & Control Appreciation Week.  The observance is dedicated towards showcasing the hard, meaningful work performed by the professionals in the animal care and control field.  The City of Jurupa Valley remains grateful for the services provided by Riverside County Animal Services and other hardworking individuals and groups in the profession.  To learn more about the observance week, click here.

Joint City Council Meeting with the City of Riverside: 2/25/2016

The cities of Riverside and Jurupa Valley will hold a joint City Council meeting on February 25, 2016 to discuss items of mutual interest.  Residents from both cities are invited to attend the meeting, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Crestmore Manor, 4600 Crestmore Road in Jurupa Valley.  Click here to view the flyer with more information.

Happy New Year, Jurupa Valley! I hope this message finds you looking back over good memories from 2015 and looking forward to great possibilities that lie ahead in 2016. March 8, 2016 will mark the 5th Anniversary of our Incorporation Election. Time has passed so quickly that it is hard to believe that we are enjoying our 5th year as a city.  I am honored to serve as your Mayor for 2016. We are looking forward to everything this year has in store for us. We are in the process of receiving a much needed payoff for incorporation debt owed to Riverside County through the passage of SB 107 (Roth) last Fall, but we still have much work to do toward the restoration of ongoing revenues that were taken from us in June 2011. That will be a battle we fight until we win! January is the time of year that many of us commit ourselves to new and better habits.
